If had to make my own prompt… i would ask, If you could pick any animal to learn the language, of what would it be?

I would want to be able to learn the language of a horse. My horses get into a lot of trouble and they do a lot of odd things. I would want to know what exactly is going through their minds. I wonder what my horses would say and what i would say to them.

It’s a pretty bizarre idea but what animal would you want to talk to?

There are many books written about understanding the language of horse. I believe the best way to understand a horse is to observe their behavior. Horses are prey animals so they are always scared of something. They are particularly afraid of anything that moves or makes noise, that covers a lot of things doesn’t it.
Horses are also in a nearly constant effort to be dominate over other horses and even people. For your horse to trust you and want to be with you, it is important that they see you as their leader. You must be be mindful of little behaviors that they might exhibit that demonstrates dominance over you. Clinton Anderson says, “the one who moves their feet first loses”.
We have three horses and everyday is a training session, every contact I have with them teaches them something about our relationship. One example is that my primary riding horse will run full tilt to the barn at feeding time. When my husband feeds she flies into the barn and goes into her stall. He realizes this behavior is dangerous yet he does little to stop it. When I feed and hear her coming I step out of the barn and make her stop and walk into the barn slowly. She believes I am the leader so all I have to do is step out and say whoa.
Spend time with your horse, watch how they behave with each other. I sometimes go out into the field with a book, sit down and read it. My horse doesn’t take long to come over and join me.
There is nothing in life like your relationship with your horse. Mine is both a joy and a challenge. I don’t know what I would do without her.

Hey, i really like this blog and i always think about how cool it would be to talk to animals. I think all animals would be fun to talk to because they probably all think of things that most people dont think to much about. If i had to choose one animal I would pick dogs because i always wonder what is going on in a dogs brain. My dog and I would talk forever and she would understand me too. I still talk to my dog but im not so sure she understands everything i say. It would be so cool to talk to dogs or any other type of animals.

I really thought your if i had to make my own prompt post was cool! I think it would be amazing to talk to horses, they’re such smart and amazing animals. I’d be cool to find out what they think about all day. If I could talk to any animal, i’d probably choose a dog just to find out what goes through my own dogs head all day.
